Located just meters away from an impressive architectural landmark of Warsaw, the proposal supports the existing Palace by adding a unique architectural flare in the landscape.

The scheme is a combination of architecture, sculpture and engineering. A design that adds to the cultural / social functions taking place in the area, a solution adapted to the life of the city around the clock. A design with an architectural approach, that is modern enough to be inspiring but not provoking for the aesthetics of an old European city.

The culture of this nation is supported in the underground part. The huge hall has an open plan approach that permits it to be used for any occasion needed. Movable panels can transform it into anything from an art exhibition to a dancing floor, from a concert room to a conference room, from a big playroom to a political gathering room.

Reflecting on the tradition of Polish engineering, the designed mechanical system provides the sliding and retracting movement. The ground level of the scheme consists of big moving panels that act as roof modules,  playground, shelter, promenade,  open market for agricultural products, open coffee shops, anything. Your imagination is the limit. According to the time of the day and the weather condition, panels move up or down changing the landscape and creating different spaces. One movement - multiple effects.
